Tennis in the United States is played on three kinds of places: public park courts run by a city or county, member clubs and country clubs with their own pros and leagues, and commercial tennis centers that sell court time by the hour. Public courts are usually free and first come, first served, with a posted limit (often 60-90 minutes when others are waiting); busier cities run online reservation systems with a small fee and a permit for the season. Indoor courts are rented by the hour and booked days ahead in winter. Most facilities are hard courts; clay is common in the Southeast and at private clubs, and grass is rare. Lights extend play into the evening at many parks, sometimes with a coin or app-operated switch.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 8 amβ10 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (408) 735-7285. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is lifetimeactivities.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Lack of coordination and poor communication between the staff made for a very frustrating experience. I purchased a group tennis class package and called ahead to let them know I wouldnβt be able to attend one of the classes. The front desk clearly told me I could schedule a make-up class later. When I later called to book that make-up class, I was flatly denied and told it wasnβt allowed. Itβs unacceptable to give customers one answer and then completely contradict it later. The staff clearly arenβt on the same page, and customers end up paying the price for their misinformation.

My sonβs 4-6 little tennis coach, Mr. Mike, is fantastic! He does a great job teaching the basics and is so good at keeping the kids engaged.

The facilities themselves are excellent. The courts are well maintained, the lighting is great, and the overall infrastructure is exactly what you'd want from a tennis facility. Unfortunately, the management and programming don't live up to the quality of the courts. One of the biggest frustrations is court availability. People constantly hunt for empty courts and occupy reservations that aren't theirs. Yes, they'll usually leave when asked, but you still end up waiting around while they gather their things and pack up. When you've paid for a reservation, that lost time is frustrating and shouldn't be your problem to solve. I was also very disappointed with the coaching program. For context, I'm a D1 player. I wanted to get my wife started in tennis and was told private lessons had a 6-9 month waitlist, so we enrolled her in group lessons instead. The quality of instruction was shockingly inconsistent. Some of the younger coaches were energetic, engaged, and clearly cared about helping students improve. Unfortunately, you don't get to choose your coach. Some of the older coaches appeared completely disengaged and seemed more interested in getting through the lesson than actuall

I came to this clinic through a friend's recommendation and had a great experience. I did microneedling with RF and a chemical peel, and the results have been amazing. My skin feels smoother and looks much brighter. The staff were professional and attentive throughout the whole process. I'll definitely be coming back!

A class I was enrolled in years ago got cancelled. I was awarded the tuition amount as credits and there was no expiration date set to use them. I've been getting the runaround on attempting to use or retrieve my credits. They switched to a new billing or account system or something last year and I had called the Sunnyvale branch who confirmed a successful transfer of my credits to the San Francisco branch, but they said I must wait a couple weeks. It never worked and each time I was about to use it, I got the runaround again. I don't think it's fair that I spent a few hundred dollars and no one at this organization is committed to helping me retrieve my funds. I'm not even requesting a refund, but I have failed on multiple occasions to use the funds to register for a new class with Lifetime Activities or purchase something from their store. The last two times I attempted to use my funds, I had biked to the SF location who asked me to phone Sunnyvale. When the account transfer was made they told me to wait a few weeks to see my credit appear. By then I had already bought a different racquet and signed up for coaching elsewhere. I'm currently yet again trying to access this credi
